  1. The customer contacts the WEX sales team.
  2. WEX enables the account for EV.
  3. The customer orders EV-enabled cards, or enables existing cards.
  4. WEX ships new cards and RFIDs to the customer’s business mailing address.
  5. The customer distributes new cards and RFIDs to drivers.

Please note:

  • A WEX customer service rep may help larger accounts manage the process.
  • Each EV-enabled card comes with an accompanying RFID to activate charging stations in the WEX network.
  • The DriverDash mobile app may also be used to activate any charging station in the WEX network.
  • Charging transactions will be invoiced alongside traditional fuel reporting. Transactions will be reported in kWh and total cost.
